  • If there is a scheduled playtest coming up, the precise date will be visible in the main menu
  • New ping system! You can press middle click (by default) to ping a location, or enemy
  • Fixed a bug where leveling up after a match did not unlock the weapons and skills immediately
  • Fixed a bug where howering the "wishlist" button in the main menu caused a hitch

  • Fixed the defender getting stuck near a laser in some cases
  • Added difficulty limit for some jumps, bots at lower difficulty will not use them
  • Bots will now try to jump if the ball is above them

  • Fixed a bug where defenders would leave their defend position randomly


[h2]Balance[/h2]
  • You can no longer jump attack after getting knocked up with Rocket Fists
  • Reduced the dash range of Rocket Fists attacks
  • Reduced Supercharge gain by roughly 50%
  • Power Katana has reduced charge duration, but longer unwind after stopping
  • Reduced the dash range of Power Katana charge attack

  • Fixed an issue where interrupting the TNT place animation would still place the TNT
  • Fixed an issue where the increasing spread did not reset if you kept holding down the attack button during reload
  • Fixed an issue where the destructible objects (like the dynamites on Austral) was showing as available for late joiners

  • Removed the auto rotation from spectating. Now only rotates automatically when the "auto mode" is enabled

  • Changed the way roles are distributed. Now defenders only appear when there are at least 3 other bots in the team
  • Bots no longer get kicked when someone joins the lobby, only when they actually start playing
  • Bots no longer spawn on maps that is not supported
  • Bots now stay in game during ending screen
  • Hypervenolate is now supported
  • Fixed bots interrupting their walljumps
  • Bots can now use Rocket Fists

New features


[h2]Bot support[/h2]
We've added bot support to Foobar! Now you can enable auto bot fill in your room, which will fill the empty slots automatically, upon starting the game. It will still let in players, who can take a bot's place, and when people leave, bots get filled in.
This is the first iteration of bot support so we would love to hear your feedback about this feature!
Please do note that bots cannot use every weapon and every skills. They can handle sword only too, but their logic is not designed with that rule in mind, so they might get stuck at some point.
For now they can only play DM, TDM and TD.
Added a new category to room creation panel called "VS AI". Here you can play against bots in single player mode, even when roomcreation is disabled (when there is no running playtest).

[h2]Spectator support[/h2]
We've finally added spectator support! Spectators do not take up player slots, can join even if the room is full. Every room has 4 spectator slot available, unless spectators are disabled in the room settings.

[h2]Character skin tone[/h2]
We've added skin tones to the characters! You can now select a skin tone when creating a character. We would love to hear your feedback about these colors!

[h2]Other changes[/h2]
  • Fixed the "Try out" and Shooting Range not working
  • Fixed a bug where respawning in a match would sometimes result in black screen
  • Fixed the Face#2 having wrong eye orientation (cross eyed)
  • Added some cooldown and sound concurrency for character voices, so they cannot be spammed that much
  • Fixed Minefield playing a lot of explosion sound when disappearing
  • Added some sound concurrency for minefield explosion
  • Added spawn protection on Hypervenolate
  • Triple tapping forward no longer results in sprinting
  • Fixed the target purchase duration reset in the shop page upon category changing

[h2]Sound effects:[/h2]
  • Reverted the previous audio listener change, it didn't improve much, but introduced a lot of bugs
  • Added a sound effect when a bullet passes by you
  • Changed the sound effect of hits
  • Changed the sound effect of walljump, adjusted the visual effect
  • Changed the sound effect of jump, dodge and sprinting
  • Added a new sound effect for when the ultimate is ready
  • Added a new sound effect for when you destroy a Minefield mine
  • Made footstep sounds more audible, enemy footstep sounds can be heard from bigger distance
  • Fixed the Scar backstep and dash sound having infinite range
  • Fixed some announcer lines
  • Added a new line to announcer for when the ball carrier is approaching the goal

[h2]Other changes[/h2]
    Added a new help menu, that can be open by pressing F1, at any point during the game. It will give information about the currently equipped weapons and skill, and the current game mode
  • Removed the weapon/skill tutorials. The try out button now brings you to Training mode, with that weapon/skill equipped, and you can get information about them in the F1 menu
  • Changed executable to support high DPI resolution, which means your resolution will be accurate even if your desktop DPI scaling is not at 100%
  • When changing the window style in options to borderless, resolution option disappears, and you get a resolution scale option instead
  • Smoothed the camera out when crouching
  • You can now enter the game during map intro, and the intro sequence will be fast forwarded
  • Turned on SSAO for the environment, without affecting the character. This is mostly visible on Tunnels.
  • Improved the response time of shop when changing between pages/categories
  • Shop preview no longer gets cleared on category change
  • Adjusted the pupil movement limits on all of the faces
  • Added 3 new sets
  • Added an option for quick chat and emote wheel to commit on release, instead of click
  • All of the medkits respawn on new round
  • Added a new animation for when you start sprinting
  • Fixed a bug where during spectating, there was no outlines on characters
  • Spectating an enemy character now removes the red tint on them

  • Fixed the purple Wrench being blue
