Update V1.15: UI/UX revamp and custom keybinds!

[p]We've been busy... Making the menu flow better and adding functionality.[/p][p]Some major points that were changed:[/p]
  • [p]The save slot system has been completely reworked, you can now have a profile that saves your progress.
    Within that profile you can start multiple runs (whereas before, you could only have 1 per save slot).[/p]
  • [p]Custom key bindings.[/p]
  • [p]You can now see upgrades in the collection.[/p]
[p]Besides those three major points, we reworked the flow and visuals of the UI and as always fixed some bugs and did some balancing along the way.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]While writing this, the team is already working on the next, biggest update for Deck of Haunts yet, that we recently teased: [dynamiclink][/dynamiclink](More on that, later!)[/p][p][/p][p]Here is the complete changelog for V1.15:[/p][p]Changes[/p]

  • [p]Unified Echo Chamber naming (removed references to Music Room).[/p]
  • [p]Increase the chance of a rare card from 10% to 20%.[/p]
  • [p]Made investigated rooms more obvious.[/p]
  • [p]Added the option to see upgrades in the collection[/p]
  • [p]Automatically load the last used Profile[/p]
  • [p]Reworked the button SFX.[/p]
  • [p]Added SFX to the Rumbling Lore card.[/p]
  • [p]Balance Cards:[/p]
    • [p]Amplify Agony: Damage and Drain increase reduced from 2 → 1 (3 → 2 upgraded)[/p]
[p]Fixed Bugs[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Sleep Paralysis and Corpse Explosion not showing up as card rewards.[/p]
  • [p]Disabled a collider that was blocking Humans in the Echo Room.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed debug text popping up on rooms when undoing a move during building.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed The Beheaded Tower limiting the amount of cards that can be played during building.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Recession Totem applying multiple times after every from from menu which could result in negative essence gain.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Veiled Card being added to the starting deck when starting a new run without the Cursed Beginnings Totem active after playing a run with the Totem active.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Humans with Destined Trait dying when still outside of the Heart Room.[/p]

Announcing Major Content Drop

[p]If you've been following the further development of Deck of Haunts a bit, you might have noticed we are addicted to giving free updates to the game and have been doing so non stop since release.[/p][p]A big one was on Friday the 13th of June, adding the Nightmare mode and Grim Reaper.[/p][p][/p][p]Now... What if we tell you, we're currently creating an even bigger update, 100% free for players that own the game![/p][p]After polishing the core of the game, including bug fixing, balancing, UI improvements, adding content here and there, we have made the decision of starting work on a big content drop for Deck of Haunts.[/p][p][/p][p]As we draw closer to releasing the content drop, we will be sharing more specific details, but for now we can say it will contain: cards, rooms and something else 👀.[/p][p]The update is planned to release around the start of August, but the exact date is not set in stone yet.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to all the players that are following us along from the start. Update V1.14: Vastly improved load time of complex house layouts

  • [p]Fixed unlocking of the Crypt as a Legendary Room after completing a run below Nightmare 13.[/p]

Update V1.13: More stability for your haunted domain, probably not your visitors

  • [p]Fixed the cursor being locked in place when trying to drag a card after switching input to controller and back to mouse and keyboard.[/p]

  • [p]Human movement improvements to reduce time between turns in large rooms:[/p]
    • [p]Humans will now roam to and then near the door they intend to take.[/p]
    • [p]Increase walking speed by 50% while roaming in a room.[/p]
    • [p]Increase walking speed by 20% if the path they need to travel between turns is long.[/p]
  • [p]Humans spawned by the Helpline trait can no longer have the Helpline trait.[/p]
  • [p]Collective Toll now correctly updates damage and drain according to the amount of traps in the room description.[/p]
  • [p]Deafening Silence now also applies to Humans that spawn after playing it.[/p]
  • [p]Mind Wipe interrupts the investigation of a Human with the Investigator trait.[/p]
  • [p]Add VFX to the counter for Nightmare 10+.[/p]
  • [p]Harvesting a Human with the Martyr trait does not give a Rotting Beams card anymore.[/p]
  • [p]Veiled cards can no longer be removed from the deck during card removal.[/p]
[p]Fixed Bugs[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Totem selection with controller for Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Heal Heart option of the boss reward screen not working with controller.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed moving upgraded Rooms causing negative Essence values.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Crypt not showing up in card discovery after unlocking it by completing Nightmare 13.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Killing Spree not rewarding AP and Draw when multiplied (through Encore for example) and lethal on an extra trigger.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Relentless doing more damage than displayed by counting itself as a played card.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a crash when moving or removing rooms with the controller and then trying to target the (re)moved room.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Crypt collider.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Reaper ready VFX showing even without the Crypt built.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Humans with Compass walking back to the door they were going to take when teleported away during their second move.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed missing translations for Collective Toll.[/p]
  • [p]Removed possible lowered health Human from normal difficulty night one to avoid potential soft lock in the tutorial.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some sound effects that were playing twice.[/p]
