[p]Welcome once again to the weekly Development Log for Lionhearts, an up-and-coming project on Steam created using Unreal Engine 5.[/p][p][/p][p]After a successful Kickstarter campaign and the release of our pre-alpha Visual Demo, the team took a much-needed break last week to recharge.[/p][p][/p][p]This week, we're excited to be back and looking ahead to our next big milestone: Lionhearts: Colosseum, our upcoming multiplayer combat demo.[/p][p][/p][p]Development has already begun, and this week our technical department made some foundational progress.[/p][p][/p][p]We’ve officially decided to use Steam’s native peer-to-peer networking solution for Colosseum and began prototyping session hosting and replication for character movement and actions.[/p][p][/p][p]We also experimented with implementing different parry animation styles! One is more cinematic, while the other is faster and gameplay focused as we begin tuning the feel of PvP combat.[/p][p][/p][p]
