Pet Companion & Steam Deck Support | Major Patch Notes - v2.0.0

[p]Hi Gravediggers! 🧟‍♂️[/p][p]With this update, we’re officially moving from v1.5 to Version 2.0, completing the roadmap we’ve been working toward for a long time!

Some features were released earlier as part of our Christmas Update, and this update focuses on what’s new and what completes the picture, here’s what’s new:[/p][p][/p][h3]🐶 Pet Companion[/h3][carousel][/carousel][p]You’re no longer alone during the night.[/p]
  • [p]By unlocking the Dog House, you can now get a Pet Companion to help you defend your graveyard at night[/p]
  • [p]Your dog roams around during the day and actively assists you during nightly zombie waves[/p]
  • [p]You can choose from a list of random names, or give your companion a name of your own![/p]
[p][/p][h3]🔫 New Weapons[/h3][p][/p]
  • [p]Desert Eagle – a powerful new handgun with high stopping power[/p]
  • [p]Secret Weapon – a special variant waiting for players who complete all achievements[/p]
[p][/p][h3]🎮 Steam Deck Support[/h3][p][/p][p]Zombie Graveyard Simulator is now officially Steam Deck Playable.[/p]
  • [p]The game runs out of the box on Steam Deck with minimal setup[/p]
  • [p]Performance has been significantly improved[/p]
    • [p]Previously, heavy combat and night waves could drop to 10–25 FPS[/p]
    • [p]Now, gameplay runs at a stable 60 FPS, even during intense moments[/p]
  • [p]The reason for Playable (instead of Verified) is that some UI text can appear smaller on Steam Deck, especially in certain languages[/p]
  • [p]Overall readability and controls are solid, and UI improvements are planned for the future[/p][p][/p]
[h3]🌍 New Languages[/h3][p][/p][p]The game now supports three additional languages:[/p]

  • [p]Norwegian[/p]
  • [p]Kazakh[/p]
[p][/p][h3]⚙️ Extensive Optimization Pass[/h3][p][/p][p]This update includes the largest optimization pass we’ve ever done. We focused on making the overall experience smoother, more stable, and more enjoyable across all hardware setups[/p][p]CPU & Gameplay Systems[/p]
  • [p]Many CPU-heavy systems were rewritten or optimized[/p]
  • [p]Turret logic was heavily optimized, especially in late-game scenarios[/p]
  • [p]Large, fully built graveyards now perform significantly better[/p]
[p]Inventory & Storage[/p]
  • [p]Inventory and Storage systems were completely reworked[/p]
  • [p]Previous stutters and frame drops when moving large amounts of items are gone[/p]
  • [p]Item transfers are now smooth and instant[/p]
[p]GPU & Rendering[/p]
  • [p]Major GPU-side optimizations in rendering and occlusion culling[/p]
  • [p]Zombie ragdolls optimized[/p]
  • [p]Improved shadow distance and grass draw distance handling[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a critical issue causing the UI to refresh every time you fired a weapon[/p]
[p]Graphics Settings Improvements[/p]
  • [p]Low, Medium, and High presets now have clear visual and performance differences[/p]

    • [p]Ambient Occlusion now has a real performance impact when disabled[/p]

  • [p]Updated the number of Planter Areas gained through upgrades[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where zombies wouldn’t attack vehicle during Expedition vehicle defense missions[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare bug where corpses could get stuck in the player’s hands while carrying[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare issue where urns could break while being carried by employees[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced prices and profits across multiple products and systems to improve overall economy flow[/p]
[h3][/h3][p][/p][h3]❤️ What’s Next?[/h3][p][/p][p]With Version 2.0, the original roadmap for Zombie Graveyard Simulator is now complete.[/p][p]For now, we don’t have a new content roadmap locked in. We’ll be taking some time to evaluate what comes next, based on player interest, long-term demand, and the future direction of the project.[/p][p]
This also means that features discussed in the past, such as co-op, are not currently planned, but we’re intentionally keeping the door open.

  • [p]Antique items can now be delivered to families instead of only being sold via the Auction App[/p]

  • [p]Updated ammo consumption for Tesla and Flamethrower Turrets[/p]

Zombie Research Lab & New Barricades | Major Patch Notes - v1.4.6

[p]Hi Gravediggers! 🧟‍♂️[/p][p]This update introduces a brand-new Research Lab and Upgradeable Barricades, giving you more ways to turn zombies into profit and to hold the line when night falls![/p][p]Here’s what’s new:
[/p][h3]🧪 Research Lab & Bio Processing[/h3][carousel][/carousel][p]Dead zombies aren’t going to waste anymore. They’re now part of your production line![/p]
  • [p]Zombies that die during the night are now collected and stored in the Research Lab morgue[/p]
  • [p]From there, you can move them to the Resurrection Table and bring them back as controlled test subjects[/p]
  • [p]Revived zombies can be placed into special cages, and each zombie type generates unique special resources over time[/p]
  • [p]You can unlock multiple cages to speed up your resource production and build a proper bio-factory[/p]

  • [p]These resources can be:[/p]
    • [p]Sold directly at base value[/p]
    • [p]Or processed at the Lab crafting station into items like Gore Bait, Red Serum, or valuables like Alpha Cure for much higher profit[/p]

[/p][h3]🛡️ Upgradeable Barricades[/h3][carousel][/carousel][p]Your defenses are no longer just throwaway planks.[/p]
  • [p]Barricades can now be upgraded through 3 tiers[/p]
  • [p]Each tier increases health and durability, making them last much longer against stronger waves[/p]
  • [p]You can transform a basic wooden board into a reinforced plank, and eventually into a sturdy metal barricade[/p]
  • [p]This gives you more control over how you build your defenses: light and cheap, or heavy and long-lasting[/p]
[p][/p][h3]🔧 Bug Fixes & Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where ammo items duplicated when they were left on the ground and the game was reloaded[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where cleaning stains in the Chapel caused the player to lose energy instead of the employee[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted seed prices for better economic balance and progression[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue at the Urn Station that caused all urns in the same category to be consumed[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the courier sometimes failed to arrive at the Delivery Station[/p]

Stone Quarry, Auctions & Halloween! | Patch Notes - v1.4.1

[p]Hi Gravediggers! 🧟‍♂️[/p][p]This update includes new systems such as the Stone Quarry & Workshop, Auction App & Antiques, as well as new Halloween decorations and a long list of fixes and improvements![/p][p]Here’s what’s new:[/p][p][/p][h3]⛏️ Stone Quarry & Workshop[/h3][carousel][/carousel][p]Your graveyard is expanding once again with new production and crafting systems![/p]
  • [p]The Stone Quarry & Workshop can now be unlocked like other stations.[/p]
  • [p]Once active, it introduces a mining machine that allows you to extract four types of stone: Limestone, Sandstone, Slate, and Granite.[/p]
  • [p]At first, it only mines a single type in small quantities, but upgrading the station increases both the stone variety and yield multiplier.[/p]
  • [p]The Stone Workshop lets you craft gravestones using the mined materials.[/p]
  • [p]A unique gravestone type exclusive to this workshop has also been added, offering significantly higher income.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]💰 Auction App & Antiques[/h3][carousel][/carousel][p]Turn rare finds into profit with the brand-new Fast Auction App![/p]
  • [p]There’s now a chance for corpses (after burial or cremation) to drop antique items such as journals, pocket watches, gold-plated clocks, or even diamond rings![/p]

  • [p]Economy balancing: Seed prices have been reduced to increase profit margins, and some upgrade costs have been adjusted for better progression.[/p]
  • [p]Defense item rework: Prices, durability, and damage output have been improved, especially for barbed wire, wooden & chain fences, electric surface, spiky wooden fence and stone walls, which now deal noticeably higher damage.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where food items with buffs did not restore health or energy when eaten.[/p]
  • [p]Localization updates and translation improvements across multiple languages.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where if an employee was carrying a corpse when exiting the game or starting an Expedition, the body would now correctly return to the nearest morgue instead of dropping to the ground.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed visual and system issues when an employee unclogged a toilet, it now correctly updates and functions after interaction.[/p]
