Its been a while since we've last updated, hasn't it?[/p][p]Since the release of v1.1 last November, our Steam review score has climbed to 66%, with a steady stream of positive reviews coming in every week. We'd like to thank everyone for your support, and we're looking forward to hitting 70% (from "Mixed" to "Positive") in the future![/p][p]Anyway, we have the patch notes for v1.1.2, as well as an updated demo + roadmap![/p][p]Read on to find out more.
[/p][p][/p][h2]2026 Roadmap + Updated Demo![/h2][p]Before we deep-dive into the patch notes, we'd like to update everyone on our roadmap for the year.[/p][p][/p][p]We're excited to announce that as of today, we've updated our outdated Steam demo to reflect the experience of the full game more accurately, which includes all updates up until this patch.[/p][p]Additionally, a highly-requested feature will be coming to the Steam version soon -- the ability to swap characters in online multiplayer mode -- which means the host and client can finally swap freely between Som and Gon![/p][p]Lastly, SEDAP! This update tackles key player feedback received since its release in May, introducing four major highlights: an in-game map, selectable difficulty modes, new Charms, and the Bestiary![/p][p]Also, along with the update, we’ve added Steam community items! Collect trading cards, badges, profile backgrounds, and emoticons when you play SEDAP! on Steam.[/p][p]Without further ado, here are the (very looong) patch notes for v1.1.[/p][p][/p]

Highlights
[p][/p][h3]In-Game Map[/h3]
  • [p]The new in-game map helps players with navigating larger levels -- a quick toggle shows an aerial view of the level, denoting player locations, and ingredient spawns with respawn timers.[/p]
  • [p]Toggle the map on and off any time during a level by using "Tab" for keyboard controls, and "Left Shoulder/LB" for controllers. For local multiplayer players using a shared keyboard, the toggle button would be "V" and "," (default controls).[/p]
[h3]Herb Mode/Spice Mode[/h3]
  • [p]For players who prefer a more casual experience, Herb Mode is a new difficulty setting in the game, where damage taken, monster HP, dish freshness and order timing depletions are greatly reduced. [/p]
  • [p]Players can toggle between the two modes at the start of the game, and in the game’s settings while in the Camp.[/p]
  • [p]However, please note that you will only be able to earn Pink Stars in Spice Mode, the game’s standard difficulty.[/p]
[h3]Four New Charms[/h3]
  • [p]Refresh your adventure with four brand new Charms and an increased Charm carry limit![/p]
    • [p]Jade Earrings: Player attacks will no longer be interrupted by incoming attacks.[/p]
      • [p]Unlocked after beating 02-03[/p]
    • [p]Five Stones: Prevents Combo Streak from expiring.[/p]
      • [p]Unlocked after beating 02-07[/p]
    • [p]Yadom: Slows the rate of food going bad by 25%.[/p]
