Beta 158 out, 3.0 is very close!!

We have wiped beta for the last time to get a good fresh look on the game.

Stuff to do before 3.0:


- Minion talents
- Finish rest of the missing Dungeons
- Go over each class 1 by 1 and tweak
- Add the special effects to planned satanics
- Syncing all effects and abilities for clients correctly
- Iron out the overall balance

BETA 158 Patch Notes


General

- Beta is reset for the last time to do the final testings.
- Poison damage no longer stacks, but deals initial damage and only poisons if the current
poison damage on the enemy is smaller than the new value. (every new potential poison deals
instant damage now)
- Now that armor is fixed and working correctly, we have nerfed armor scaling a bit
- Minion damage reduction and HP now works correctly
- Capped mystery box growing to 4 times its size
- Flight now raises your character up a bit
- Increased long range immunity range a bit
- Fire damage now also scales with physical damage
- All class abilities that give a buff now show in the buff section
- You can now shift click to add 5 talents per time or use X on xbox controller to add 5 points in a talent.
- Polished trade window + fixed trade crashes
- plenty of guns now shoot multiple bullets as a burst including "Warbringer" and the bow "Buriza"
- Added new Act 2 and Act 3 assets, more will come later on.
- Improved talent, hero talent, minion navigation without it showing the spells right away (disturbing)
- Map now closes if you choose the area you are in (for now only town)
- Added special effects to Gun satanics
- All bosses are now part of the base game
- All relics are now part of the base game
- Added all relics descriptions to the game
- You can now write multiple lines of text into the chat in game (no more low limit like before)
- Spring cleaning to sprites, removed a bunch of non-used ones to clean up RAM memory for everyone
- Optimized tilesets and freed a TON of memory from the game.
- Made new achievement icons and set up for 3.0
- Chests now avoid the portal like items
- Minion no longer gives EXP or MF if its dead

Fixes

- Fixed PD buff not showing from managlobes
- Fixed a loading crash
- Fixed a Minion crash
- Fixed a few relics
- Fixed a problem with rune/gem stacking
- Fixed NPC Spawning spots to be away from collision objects
- General bug fixes from bug fix channel
- Fixed ground generation in all areas and dungeons (part of RAM optimization)
- Fixed Duping by re-writing the whole drop system. (REPORT to us if you find a way to do it)
- Fixed Damage reduction (was a major mistake in the code)
- Fixed a random crash that occurs after generation

Items

- Tomahawk and Spellblade now create a small AOE effect when impacting enemies

Balance

- Nerfed mythic hand gun's APS
- Set King's Crown to max 2000 damage

Marksman

- Re-worked Arrow Rampage, now shoots arrows in a line from behind the player
- Buffed ability damages a lot (including turret)
- Increased Turret's attack speed

Demonspawn

- Blood Surge made 2 times wider
- Blood Demons no longer collide with trees n stuff
- Manacalypse radius is now 600 pixels from 256
- Mana Shield no longer activates Blood demons
- Re-made Blood Demon and Blood Surge art
- Manapool increased to 5 + (1 x talent)
- Increased Impale damage scaling
- Demonic Presence increased from 5 + (0.5 x talent) to 10 + (0.75 x talent)

Samurai

- Omnislash now does a small invisible nova effect on every impact (does more AOE)

Pyromancer

- Hydra now has a 1.25 sec cooldown
- Hydra attacks now create a small AOE on impact

Beta Update 150 - More fixessss!



Lots of new fixes and optimization + features, check the list below!

General

- Added 64px padding to Damien Phase 2 to give more room
- All Acts now have an Act specific Unstable rift
- Reflection now goes into the direction where the projectile was created at
- Improved Enemy animations to right directions when moving
- Made Unstable rift enemies move to you faster
- Re-made the Portal art for boss kill portals
- Removed Immunity from bosses but added a 40% armor and 15% block chance to them instead.
- Added Stamina to all 2 handed weapons below satanic
- Added base attack speed to show in weapons to remove the illusion of "slow APS"
- Removed difficulty scaling in chance on getting sockets, its now flat starting from Normal
- Added Attack cursor indication for Gamepad for melees too
- Fixed Ranged resistance enemies
- If any window or chat is open you cannot interact with NPC's
- Ladders in Dungeons are now usable.
- Added "?" and "!" marks to NPC's in zones
- if your level is bigger than the zones Mlevel it will then add 35% of the missing levels to the ilevels of the drops
- Added outlines for loots behind walls and when pressed ALT its name is drawn on top of everything
- Added a quest to the River of Inoya
- Game now saves your progress if a patch comes and kicks you out.
- Dungeons are now higher Mlevel than the zone you entered from
- Made Hero Talent tiers written after the name + made them darker if not unlockable
- You can no longer pick up a relic if there is other stuff below you

Demonslayer

- Fixed Deactivating dash leading to unable to move

Plague Doctor

- Added Visual Buffs for Crow Mask and Booster Shot
- Fixed Syringe MSpeed

Shaman

- Fixed wolves moving weird
- Optimized Wolves collision with each other
- Fixed Astral Wolf Mspeed for FPS settings

Demonspawn

Beta 147 Update (Mercenaries now have shields!)



Hard work pays off! Here is another big batch of patch notes! Also Mercenaries now have shield slots :)

General

- Improved loot collision and masks
- New Boss Health Bars

Loot

- Added additional drop chance to Rifts and Satanic Mode
- Nerfed Cursed Doll movement speed on Elites
- Wormholes start from 205 @ inferno
- Increased stamina scaling per point by 1 for every class
- Decreased physical class manacost scaling a bit
- Increased all spell damage scaling per point by 10%
- armor scale per level up to 1.25% from 1%

- Fixed going back to town with TP and ending up next to Z1 entrance

Classes

Pyromancer

- Re-worked fireflies and apocalypse + fixed the spells in multiplayer
- Fixed Blazing Trail not starting immediately
- Apocalypse now only triggers from ignited enemies (Fireswarm causes ignite)
- Increased Ignite lasting from 3 seconds to 5 seconds

Marksman

- Fixed Homing Rocket text saying chance + damage
- Doubled Homing Rocket turning speed.
- Fixed Multiturret attack speed for all FPS settings (speed is 1.25 second cooldown)

Nomad

- Increased Sandstorm cooldown by 1 seconds

Necromancer

- Minions now gain 10% of the player's HP in their hp pool

DemonSlayer

- You can now cancel charge by pressing the button again
- Reduced the knockback for charge

Demonspawn

- Fixed talent tooltips for Mana Devour + increased mana devour amount by a lot
- Buffed Manacalypse from 10% + 2.5 per level to 50% + 3.5 per level

Shaman

- Spirit Wolves now have the player's movement speed
- Spirit Wolves now have the player's movement speed
- Improved Elemental Blast's projectile hitbox
- Nerfed Spirit Wolve's damage scaling a bit

White Mage

- Fixed standing next to enemies and Restless Spirits not dealing damage

Beta Patch 142 + (Act 5 Act 6 made free for base game)



Lots of fixes, optimization and new stuff added!

One major thing is that the base game is now 6 ACTS. The current ACT DLC's will be class DLC's after 3.0 with all the extras, so only the zones will be included for free. Price stays the same, so nothing changes technically.

Here are the patch notes:

General

- Slightly increased loot multipliers on ACT bosses and Minibosses on Hell and Inferno
- normal to mythic drops on hell and up now range from 110 ilevel to 150 ilevel at random
- Increased Base MS by 10
- Changed the color for superior items a bit
- Buffs now show the correct effect with new icons
- Max AS capped at 7 frames (overflow denies players attacks)
- Added a 10% damage reduction to ranged classes vs 30% of melee
- You can now craft Keys for 250g and Crystal Keys for 650g
- Hero Talents are now disabled for players below level 100
- Added an effect to slowed enemies
- Increased Exploring range in minimap
- Starting armor scaling buffed to 17.5% from 12.5%
- Changed NPC minimap Icon color
- Bosses cannot be rare or elite in normal act 1 zone 1 and 2
- Pumpkins in Act 1 Zone 3 now drops stuff like bushes
- Gamepad navigation made better in mapscreen
- You can no longer go into town portal or zone portal if you are picking up an item
- Nightmare now starts at MLevel 45
- Hell is now MLevel 135
- Inferno is now MLevel 205
- Satanic Items are now iLevel 160 (makes no difference to stats tho, just visual to compare mythics)
- Slightly increased Key drop rates

Fixes

- Fixed drop names not showing thus item not working
- Item drops should now avoid relic positions
- Item drops should now avoid walls and objects better
- Fixed traps being stuck in walls some times.
- Fixed getting more followers or orbits than you should have
- Fixed a crash with reflection enemies
- Quest relics and usable relics you no longer use will no longer draw in your relic list.
- Added runes to items that disabled speaking to NPC's
- Fixed a bug with minion orbit ability
- Oxygen Meter is now drawn on top of all the other overlay effects
- Fixed a save bug that makes a character unplayable
- fixed a problem with dropping rubies and gold
- Fixed Poison damage and Poisoned effect (green hue)
- Fixed stucking in enemies, and enemies stucking in you.

Relics

- Maryo's Pipe now teleports you to your direction or cursor direction for 128 pixels working as a "teleport"
- Fixed Double Scythe Relics Hitbox (was small af before)
- Fixed Bouncy dissapearing when hitting a wall or obstacle, now creates an explosion
- Fixed Bouncy dealing 1 damage when exploding
- Fixed Satans tooth doing 1 damage
- Maryo's Pipe cooldown is now 3 seconds
- Basic use relic cooldown is now 10 seconds from 15 seconds
- ES energy now adds 10% energy for 4 seconds
- Winner's Drung now adds 10% strength for 4 seconds
- Fixed Toxic Orb's poison nova damage
- Fixed Rice & Chopsticks
- Helm of Chaos now procs at 10% hp instead of 5%
- Fixed Devil Horn timer to 5 seconds

Pirate

- Rapidfire is now percentual, starting from 15% and adding 0.5% per level

Shield Lancer

- Fixed Endless Charge, now also refreshes charge cooldown 100%

Marksman

- Increased Deterrance speed a bit
- Deterrance no longer gets you stuck

Amazon

- Death from Above speed increased
- Death from Above no longer gets you stuck

Beta 138 is out! Balance is close to perfect!



We have been at it nonstop since the last announcement! A lot of things have changed, and we have worked hard with a few hardcore players from the community to iron out the balance to make the game challenging in both early and end game!

Here are the patch notes:

General

- All monster affix except enchants are displayed as icons below the health bar.
- Reduction now starts at 12.5% per armor point and grows 1% per level per point
- Player Reduction is now maxed at 95% of enemy damage, so blocking damage completely is impossible now.
- Player Buffs and Debuffs are now drawn on top of the exp bar.
- Polished world map
- Water and space levels now have less gravity
- Removed damage scaling on enemies per player in multiplayer
- Lowered Exp gain a bit, current system you outlevel too hard
- Increased high rarity monsters damage scale a bit

- Fixed a shop crash with melee minion skins
- Fixed Steel Shields some times not doing damage on Paladin
- Fixed Shattered Katana damage
- Fixed Shadow Anomaly bat damage

Classes Overall

Paladin

- Holy Hammer cooldown reduced to 1 second.
- Increased Shield Bash starting damage
- Holy Hammer Mask is now way bigger than before
- Steel Shields now have a orbit radius of 64 px instead of 32

Nomad

- Sand Throw now has a bigger Mask
- Vanish Illusions now have correctly placed and bigger Mask
- Demolishing Tornado Mask is now bigger and tick rate is faster
